Double Take
Double Take is a Macintosh program that creates panoramas from sequences of images with very versatile manual tools.
Double Take can recognize by itself the order of the pictures's sequence to be stitched and, in case of an error, these can be dragged by the user to their right positioning. This is the first of many manual tools offered by the program for a careful edition of panoramas.
Among Double Take's most original tools is the dynamic adjustment of the images seam's width, which makes it possible to adapt the transition area to the photographs's features. This program has all the usual manual image editing tools for panorama creation, such as dragging, aligning and cropping of the images, as well as optically distorting them based on the type of lens, focal lenght, etc.
It also presents geometry tools such as scale, perspective and rotation. An unusual feature of the later is it allows for rotation of the image to be adjusted around any user defined point, unlike most editing programs which only let the image rotate around its own center, which turns out to be particularly useful when the positioning of the camera between shots hasn't been accurate enough.

Double Take admits several popular image formats, including TIFF, and recognizes the EXIF information recorded by the camera to the source files. At the end of the process Double Take creates flat photographs of either high or low definition and/or Quick Time files for immersive navigation of the panorama, It also creates a basic webpage which includes the interactive content, with the necessary code to include it within any other page.
Double Take has also useful tools to create screen captures of elements larger than the available screen and to print out to several pages images spanning large areas. This program, which among its many tools includes several keyboard shortcuts, is only available for Macintosh.
